You like chat before the tute or maybe after... it's difficult to explain. Just try and be sociable.
Like if you have a lecture break and you've sat next to someone, then chat with them if they look kinda bored.
There are others in your classes in the same boat as you. You can take the initiative and try and get yourself out of that and have the satisfaction of a new friend, or... well, yeah.
Sociable is not in my blood, haha. I'm introverted.
But I'm fine with or without friends. Unless I'm stuck in an extremely boring lecture that doesn't actually teach me anything.
Nah it takes about 2 mins to do the calculation questions, very straightforward, if you can do the beginner questions in the textbook you wont have a problem.. Spent the rest of the time procrastinating over the written answer and writing a whole page of blabber >_<
Yes, thank god! I was worried. I'm still going to study my butt off, but I'm glad that the quiz isn't too hard. But I guess the questions vary with each tutorial, so...

Exactly! Who needs friends? It's great to have them, but to be honest, once a lecture gets started, I focus wholeheartedly on what the lecturer is saying and barely talk to my friends. My friends are also busy doing the same thing. We talk to each other before and after, sometimes during the lecture. That's all.
