Not meant to. You should be allowed to drop it.

Just do your other work in it or something.

^this and besides it's never too late to drop the subject, I've known of people who have dropped the subject a week or a few days before the HSC exam, they SHOULD allow you to do it.

I was in the same case, up untill about 6 weeks ago

Don't know if I am going to get as good an ATAR now
because before I was doing English-Advanced, Maths 2U, Physics, D/T, Modern and Business Studies
now only do Standard Eng, Gen. Maths, D/T, Modern and Business don't know what atar I will get out of that I will see!
