anyone got any ideas on what my short story about belonging could be about?

a teenager in a christian family but she is not a christian so she feels like she doesn't belong. her whole family is trying to talk to her about god but she doesn't listen:apig:

a)i was born to wear a uniform and now i had to pack it away
b)we staked our claim on that bit of land and we weren't leaving
c)4 photos 1)family portrait 2)man running 3)lady looking shocked 4) group of men talking as if in sadness *must use all 4 images

i was thinking of a) because its the easiest

something along the lines of an officer of some sort having to put down his uniform because someone he loved was killed because he belonged to the police/agency or something and how he ends up not belonging to his family as he gets blamed for their death.
