i dont actually know of any resources on the net ...

but for short answers:
* check the verb, and answer accordingly
* give concise definitions, if asked
* use facts and details from information given
* use evidence to back-up claims

there is just too much variety in short-answer imo ...

I think Economics short answers are pretty straightforward, in the HSC exams anyway. They are basically text book knowledge, so if u have a good understanding of all the major topics within the course, short answers will seem like general knowledge. But for that to occur, solid revision needs to be undertaken throughout the yr

Is it wise to put stats into short answers? Or is that taking the whole concept of SHORT answers to far.?

depends on how much the question is worth
if its a 5 mark question, then a couple of stats might not hurt your argument, but if its 1 or 2 marks, then all u need is a definition and explanation

depends very much on the question as minai pointed out ... but if the answer could be better answer with the support of stats obviously use them ... :)

ur aloud to use dot points in short answers, so feel free to do so. Don't hafta waste time on sentence structuring.

plus in hsc eco exam you'll have plenty of time, so my advice is to put in as much relevant information as possible.

look at the band 6 responses from 2001 hsc. notice how they go over the top wiv info? do it!
