Cant go past Keating
JH was a lot sharper than he gets credit for (here). But he was also v lucky.
Costello and Beazely are/were very bright but strike me as lazy.
Rudd's special power is a relentless protestant work ethic, more than anything
Gillard is razor sharp
Turnbull is probably the sharpest bloke in parliament atm
