hahaha i used to love chemistry as well until i did the "production of materials" and "Chemical monitering and management" topics... they just sucked the fun RIGHT out of that subject. But industrial chem is good... u get to make soap :) yay!

Now for some helpful input: a lot of people dropped chemistry in my school after (and during the preliminary course) and many of them regret it. Why? Because they made a bad judgement about their other subjects - and are now stuck with 10 units. My advice: don't make a rushed decision, worst subjects can change. In my instance, extension maths was my strongest subject in year 11. Now its my weakest - go figure... :mad1: I wouldn't take any chances this early and would wait till year 12 half yearlies - but that's just me.
