Or just take the 5-10% hit and don't turn up to quizzes at all.

If you look at the email it says theyll contact us on Wednesday...probably to tell us that we have to wait for another week. At least if what Ive heard about Usyd administration is correct.

Probably 2-3 days.. or worst 5 days with 2-3 hours only each day. Doing only part-time this year again, and working part-time.

You do get an automatically allocated timetable, radhika87. People are just using the central timetable unit (that lists options for tutes/labs/lecs/workshops etc) to compile their own timetable.

Once you get the automatically allocated timetable, you can either change it online or in person. I'm guessing most people will try to manipulate their allocated timetable to the one they are designing now.

You won't get your timetable through email. It'll just be available in student adminstration on Myuni.

What does it mean when it's like;

1 - Wed 11:00 [1 to 13 of sess 1], Fri 09:00 [1 to 5, 7 to 13 of sess 1]

Does that mean 2 lectures per week? One on Wednesday at 11 and the other on Friday at 9?

Yeah I already have it open. It says

Classes: 2 hour of lectures and 3 hours of computer laboratory sessions per week.

So that means there's two 1hr lectures?

EDIT: Hm it goes on to say that the subject is split into 2 components, both with their own amount of lecture time and lab time. So it is 2 lectures, Wed at 11 and Fri at 9.

USYD is so incompetent, i mean, yes, we are a big university, but i mean, is it honestly that difficult to have our timetables available more than 5 days before university starts, espescially since we're starting later than everybody else, it really shits me, espescially since it's all done by a computer...they have to make things so difficult, it shits me!
