Ah...persistence pays off, just keep backing and clicking on "update your enrolment" and eventually you'll get in...once you're in, it's a bit slow, but no worries :D

Man some of those accounting classes were filling up terribly quickly...very lucky

is it just me, or myunsw has been quite lame lately? I haven't been able to enrol to any cofa geneds this far, and now it's saying service unavailable when you try to enrol =/
All the new reforms have made everything shit. I hate how they sent us an email (to unimail) trying to make it sound like we are getting a better service.

To make it short, what has happened has been;
- Shorter Semester Weeks for Same Cost (running the Uni more and more like a business)
- Systems down, down, down. I mean 11.30pm-1am downtime everyday. That's rediculous.
- Enrolment system buggy as hell.

Thanks reforms, everything has become alot _clearer_.

----------------------------

I'm enrolled in (not less after trying a gazzilion times to just get into the enrolment system)

COMP9444 - Neural Networks
FINS3616 - International Business Finance
FINS3635 - Options, Futures&Risk Mgmt
FINS3640 - Investment Mgmt Modeling

I'm definately taking the following subjects next sem:

ACTL2003 Stochastic Models for Actuarial Applications (eep!)
MATH2931 Higher Linear Models
COMP1921 Data Structures and Algorithms

And I'm deciding on whether to do FINS1613 next semester or 1st semester next year. I'm considering changing maths->comp sci, although there's still a 3rd year maths subject which I REALLY wanna take and I wouldn't mind doing it next sem since I've already done the prereq.

Argh the confusion !

You should be able to fit in a 3rd year math subject even if you're doing a comp sci degree, theres really little core comp subjects in 3rd year. It feels weird only taking one math subject this semester, I'm so used to stressing over 2 or 3 at a time  But i had to take my geneds at some stage.

Speaking of which, has anyone taken the Getting into Business gened? A friend was telling me turning up is almost a guaranteed credit.
