I've been through the weirdest internship application process myself. I did all the online tests, got the phone interview...and now they want me to come in for a 'pre-employment medical test' next tuesday. I'm confused as to whether i got the position or not...i haven't even met them face to face yet :/

Hate those questions. I was lucky, I got "Conflict" "How did you exceed expectations?" "What are three qualities that define you?" They're pretty vanilla

Does everybody else just make up answers to those questions (like I do), or do you use real life answers?

Medical is usually the last step, so you have generally made it. I had my medical, then 4-5 days later after the test results came back, I got the internship.

On another topic, one more assignment done. Seriously, theoretical finance is really ..... different from real world stuff. And Matlab should be more intuitive.

Most of it is bullshit, based on real life though, but facts are tailored to fit the question

well the article is for a marketing/media/advertising journal. i was asked for my pic after my boss sent a press release announcing me being hired. normally they just say "stas left X to go to X. end." but perhaps they're curious about how different the two companies are (advertising to client, product to service, word of mouth/fun/youth to insurance).

I'd go with either 1 or 3.

1 - nice, normal, down to Earth.

3 - alittle unusual in angle, plus you look alittle more determined in your focus and expression.
