ahh finally got mine, wonder what took so long. Yay, go all the unsw students here with HDs! I can't believe I passed chem though! I kept dreaming that I'd get a FL for it...since lol I was so lazy on the comp assignments.

Not surprising you got 98 since you only did one COMP course.... easily attainable, there's something wrong with my mark and Helen is on holidays so I have to wait
But this was a killer course when I had a crappy group and a fulltime uni student.

Email the lecturer that you want to check your exam which is free. It will cost $50 to remark.

im gonna have a stab at it and say that remarking includes re-entering the marks into the system which might be a homotastic process for the lecturer (hence the $50), whereas checking is just a quick look over to see whether a remarking is required

No checking is you looking at it, remarking is the marker looking at it.

If you wait too long, it will be too late. I believe you have 14 days from now to lodge an appeal.

yea you'd probably get a better response if you bothered them outside of holiday time since they're usually off doing more important things during this time of the year

i had to wait a week for my lecturer to come back from some random conference he didn't tell anyone about in order to answer my question about my exam

In that case, I suggest you don't worry about the remark.

But seriously, do it as soon as possible, regardlessof holiday-or-not. In university administration, dates and timestamps of all correspondence are sometimes taken into account. For example, you might email now, and the lecturer might not get back till past 14 days, but at least you can say you emailed them. Whereas if you waited, it might simply be, too late.
