what do you mean by "fragmented"? you mean..speak a sentence word by word, pausing frequently?

Yeah pretty much. He would start a sentence, pause and begin saying something completely different. He can't string a sentence together.

How long can we change our timetable up to like? Cuz it's not giving me the tutes I want atm. I mean, if I can't get them I'll go to the ones I want anyways but yeah.

I think it's census date, but could be wrong. I know I changed mine a heap last semester

It must be census date, because if you add/remove a unit you'd have to get a new timetable no?

But i think the last day to add a unit is march 14th.

On another note ISYS is much more different than i thought...i feel like an arts student now with all this reading and case studies :\

I thought the date you could add a unit of study came before the census date, but i'm prolly wrong.

Good news anyway. Chem and bio stuff's no problem since there's always plenty of places in labs and whatever, but those arts tuts are always packed.

hay guyz did anyone go to ENGL1000 today? I took one look at the completely fucking full lecture theatre and walked back out, did i miss a course outline / anything important?

i was kind of under the impression that engl1000 was the kind of subject you dont have to attend to pass. i wouldn't worry.

I was in there. That place was a fire hazard. All you missed was some logical fallacies. Tu quoque, ad hominem and some crap like that. I was reading about the clitoris in Honi Soit and talking to some IT guy in the lecture theatre instead though. :rofl:

There are no live lectures after this. You attend a tutorial every week. Everything else besides films are accessed on WebCT.

Wow, they're not even trying to make it look like a proper subject.

I think the last day to change it should be next friday,
but the reason you can't change your tutes right now may be because many tutes are already full (ie. other people already chose the tutes they wanted and those are probably the ones you want as well.. so there's no space, or hardly any for you to move into).

Someone else reckon so?

lol I'm doing GCST2601...gender studies woo. Although I think it's classified as cultural studies I'm sure I'll be the only guy doing it
