looking good man. btw, i've decided to go with the full hi def samsung 32" (series 5). the hi fi fellas at work said it was the best way to go for that size and price

...why on earth would you go full-hd for 32"? you really can't notice the difference unless you use it as a computer monitor and sit right in front of it. even at 40" full-hd is almost a waste.

the picture was noticeably better on the series 5 compared to, say, the series 4. whether or not it was due to the resolution i've got no idea but i'd rather plonk down the extra dosh to get the better model anyway. plus it's a lot sleeker.

it will double as a monitor every now and then as well

5 series picture is better at 32" because of the contrast ratio. our eyes perceive differences in contrast ratio more readily than in resolution. however, if it will be used as a monitor at times, then it is worth it.

Too human:
first two pics are taken with exposure set to -2.0 in regular camera mode. They look good, imo, but it's soooo difficult to take those pics as my hand has to be 100% stable, particularly because my TV doesn't have a freeze mode. The rest were taken with the sports mode.
