Anyone sharing their experience of gaining year 11 entry into selective schools? I am aiming to get into Sydney boys, what should I do to prepare?From what I know, the school writes its own tests, are there any resources or materials to prepare for the test?I am also considering to apply to normanhurst boys and fort street, anyone successfully gets into anyone of them, would like to share their experience? Thanks

it depends on what school ur applying for. check what testing company the school ur applying for uses and buy some practice papers off of them.

I didnt do the edutest but a lot suggest managing time? Not a lot of tips rlly here also for the entry I dont personally know anyone that got into any of those for yr 11 but I can only assume that it was probably hard at first to adjust but got easier w time (?)

Cus I saw a lot complying abt the middle HAST but the senior HAST WAS SO EASY (it either means I failed or passed but it was easy)

what i will say is do NOT fucking apply to selective bro your better off staying at ur old school and graduating from there trust me. i got in and it was the worst decision of my life and basically ruined my life

I didnt apply sghs but i did get an email like that from sefton n sgghs (maybe everyone gets one?)
