hey ppl!:D :D

i just realised that there are like a dozen books i have to buy for my course and right now the budget is really tight and is thought i heard someone say that there's a website where u can get .second hand books and i am just wondering what that website was, i kinda forgot.

so if anyone know that link, plz like me know, thank u !!:D :D

hey ummm i dnt really knw the website, but i heard u can get 2nd hand books from the SRC

also tho u gotta be careful cos most 2nd hand bks will be last yrs and for certain courses the textbook may have changed.. for example case studies and stuff like that.. so just kinda ask to make sure

Umm, there are a few places,
- the SRC secondhand bookshop, on the top level of the wentworth building is pretty crap, well it was for me, they dont have any bio or chem books
- the noticeboards around campus have adds for books on them from second years selling their old books
- there is a website I saw advertised until those stupid socialist alternative people plastered their stupid posters over everything else on every noticboard,www.oneandten.com
- And theres the 2nd hand bookshops at UTS, UNSW etc that may have books for your subjects

And if all else fails, jooin the co-op and get 15% off all new text books. I bought 2 today and got my $25 back straight away, and its valid for your whole time at uni, so its worthwhile.

ok, ic ic! yeah i agree the 2nd hand shop in wenworth is pretty ........:confused: the books i want are all sold out.

for that co-op card, haha , just wondering, can i borrow that , haha:D :D

The Coop gives an 8% discount, though then you can also get the 7-8% government rebate if it's a textbook.
