I have a few unanswered questions related to the syllabus that my teacher couldn't care less to teach about (teach well anyway). Anyway the questions are as follows:

-Explain the cell cycle.

-State the function of cell specialisation in terms of health. (cell differentiation and specialisation both confuse me a little).

-Outline how the function of genes, mitosis, cell differentiation and specialisation assist in the maintenance of health.

Thanks everyone in advance for any help:)

Cell diff and specialisation is just one thing - its where cells develop to become specialised in function. Eg. mitosis --> identical cells --> develop into eye cells, muscle cells etc.

If they don't become specialised --> the mass of identical cells becomes a tumour (cancer)

-Outline how the function of genes, mitosis, cell differentiation and specialisation assist in the maintenance of health.
Genes control production of proteins aka enzymes, which are necessary for metabolism (health)

Mitosis produces identical cells for growth/repair.
