mates and I were planning to go to Fiji as well but had a nice long chat with my travel agent who said probably not the best time to go seeing as they no longer have a Constitution which gives the military a hell of a lot power that they wouldn't normally have. Make sure you guys know exactly what is allowed/not allowed...obviously its schoolies and everyone just wants to get hammered but try and keep yourself out of trouble

also if your going to Bali for schoolies it would be a total waste of your money if you stay in the same place the whole time, you may as well just go to the gold coast. Get out and see the countryside, some of the islands travel around and make the most of your plane flight over, accommodation is cheap enough and the main parts of Bali eg. Kuta are incredibly westernised.

the boys n i finished our hsc last yr n were goin 2 bali, but had 2 pull out at the last second. but we headin this yr hopefully gunna hit up bounty on the 24th-5th same as last yr. hope 2 c u all there!

yewwww i'm going to bali for schoolies and so is HALF of the tweed coast!!!
i know of a good 100 people going to bali.
i'm going 24 nov - 4 dec and staying at grand istana rama and have friends staying at bounty and bali gardens.

don't go to surfers unless your looking to rape drunk 13 year olds cos there will be more of them than actual schoolies.
plus staying in gold coast is probs more expensive than going to bali.

sure, there could be attacks in bali.. but you could get hit by a bus in gold coast.

so keen for bali,

i am staying at the bounty with my mate. from the 1st of dec, to the 17th.
most of my other mates who are going are staying at the barong, so practically everyone is within walking distance

going to be so much better then surfers
its going to be so good

there is like half my school and the coffs coast headin over there around the 20th nov - 5th of of .
it will be sweet
