Hey guys,

I was just wondering how much everyone pays in tuition fees, and this includes all students from government, selective, catholic, private and independent schools.

When I say how much, how much you paid in the last year of your schooling. Or how much your Year12 fees are.

I went to a government country school: Albury High School. I had a general contribution of $50 to $100 a year, with $40 for my Visual Arts fee, plus a $5 levy for Drama.

Please include the name of your school, tuition fees, estimate for levies and if applicable, your boarding fee.

Edit: If you are willing to, please include your UAI.

I go to a government school, and this year my fees are exactly $100. But then again, I don't do any practical subjects that require fees.

$100 School Fee includes:

Sport/Transport/Equipment $10
Admin Charges $55
P&C Levy $5
Book Fees $30

I had to pay 200 a term but that was just for the extras... I was on a full academic, full after hours and significantly reduced performing arts fees scholarship...

The actual fees are more like $16000+ a year... and that doesn't include after hours... which is practically compulsory if you do ballet stream....

and my uai is below....

My school fees this year was $241, from $153 for general school contribution, $65 for P&C, $20 for Carnival charges and $3 for careers. If i did arts music or industrial subjects it would've been more.

Last year in Year 12, a local government school:
$100 General Contribution
$20 IPT
$20 SDD
$10 English (don't know where the money actually went, we had to pay for our own excursions).

I wonder about ppl at Sydney Grammar--apparently their fees are about $17,000 a year, does anyone know if that's remotely correct?

sydney Grammer is more than that. They were only a couple hundred short of my school last year at $18 500 and this year my school bumped it up to $20 500 so I imagine Grammer did the same.
