hey this is quite a weird question but what is the official 'end date' of a secondary education level?

is it when you graduate from highschool and leave school but still have written hsc examination to do?

or is it the day after your last hsc exam?

or is it the day after you receive your ATAR?

on the centrelink website, when i got up to this part to claim for family assistance, the 'end date' was already filled: 20/12/13. this is the day after our ATAR is released. is this correct?

also from wiki it quotes: institutions are permitted to define their own actual start and end dates - so the 20/12/13 might be a fixed end date for secondary schooling?

end date is the date on which the child (in question) has ceased or is expected to cease the current education level - so can it be the day after MY last hsc exam? (or the day when ALL hsc exam finishes?)

is it reasonable to say that our current education level ends when we receive our results?

Yes on results. I have a letter saying that I have to fill in the end date of my new education (dafuq that could be in 2017/2018). Maybe I read it wrong but I don't know. It also says that the deadline is when my results come out.

This might be the official day for people outside the department.

But you are no longer a part of the school from the moment your sign-out form is processed.
I guess if you don't sign out them it is Dec 20.

BTW I'm sure that the significance of Dec 20 is not that it is the day after the ATAR is released. It is the official last day of the school year (official days being based on required teacher attendance).
