So which one is more.. Like for example, a 74 in chemistry aligns to 90. What does a 74 in chemistry scale to?

If a 74 aligns to a 90, then that 90 scales to around 97, but this changes each year.

I thought UAC worked with raw marks?

Well, if you get a 90 which is your HSC mark, last year that scaled to a 97 (according to the atar calculator).
