if they scale? do they scale across the board?

as in those ppl on 40 and those on 60 all get the same marks added?

i hope they do, mite bump me up a grade

Mate, that was the worst exam out. The percentage fail rate for 2B is usually around 8.5%. So, I guess you have to be in other 91.5% and it should not be too bad . . . .

And also, I reckon 2B shouldn't be used in the WAM calc, since its so shit.

Im gonna be choosing my second year subjects soon (want to major in Accounting/Finance and get CA). Any recommendations?

Yea... 2b is compulsory if u wanna do a major in Accounting.. I think u cant do 3a unless u pass 2b..

If you are planning to do CA, CPA or a member of the institute of actuaries, 2B is a prerequisite.

I reckon 2b should weight less e.g 3 credit pt, so it wouldn't affect our WAM as much..

lol, yeh, but the UOC of credit should reflect the workload or difficulty or whatver...so no way it was worth 3.
At macq its worth 4. (typical subjs are 3)

Yeah, these were scaled bigtime! I only anwsered 65-70% of the paper properly and I got a DN, dont know how that works
