lol by not reading the INSTRUCTIONS i stuffed up multiple choice in the first three exams we had: english, science, maths like instead of COLOURING the boxes i put X's. and when i wanted to change my answer i coloured it in and put an X in the one i wanted.
yes pretty stupid i know. and it was computer-marked
but wat the heck it's just school cert. ROFL
newaiiz here's wat i got i'm pretty happy considering! and YES i was hella surprised!! for all of them!! friends taught me last minute and i beat them? i think the markers were jus desperate to give marks by the end of marking thousands of papers..
english -88
maths -92
science -86
aus geo -93
aus history -90
computing -92
PS. does this give me any indication of wat i should do for next year? like i was considering dropping to standard english.. i got a C for my grade but the sc exam mark looks good (i like to think i got band 6 LOL)
wow, you still managed 86 or higher when you stuffed up multiple choice! well done
alot of people say school certificate results are NOT an indicator of what HSC subjects to take and i'd strongly second that, for example, in english, school certificate is skills but in HSC it is much more content based and remembering essays, and in my opinion, one stand alone test (SC) cannot possibly accurately examine ones skills/knowledge in a certain subject
in the HSC, start afresh doing the subjects YOU want to do and don't listen to people saying certain subjects are too hard, everyone is different and if you keep consistent and try your hardest who knows what you could achieve
sorry, I sound like a motivational speaker or something but it's true, its all up to you
P.S BUT remember (in my opinion) don't let one set of tests determine your future subject/career choices
