normally by the time i answer someone else has lol.

anyway the first one is quite easy.

circle is 360 degrees from the centre. 720 is twice 360. so all u do is half everything to get it to the right aount (ie 1/2 = 2/4, 140/720=70/360.

so expenses would be 70 degrees out of 360 degrees of the circle. ( i think)

------------

the 2nd one:
there is an even amount of scores so the average of the middle 2 will give u the median (middle number).
the middle 2 are 58 and x

so x+58 / 2 = 60

*2 on both sides

x+58=120

-58 from both sides

x= 62.

-----------------------
14.
400-280=120 (is left)
120/400*100 = 30% left.

----------

start from 75. deduct 3 (get a score), deduct 3 (get another score), start from 75. add 3, get a score, add another 3, get a score.
now u have 5 scores with an average of 75.
this 69,72,75,78,81 (all %)
------------------------------

10% of 50 is 5 . so 45 = 50-45 . answer is a.

--------------------

75 dollars each month. 3 years = 36 months/
total interest = 75 x 36 = $2700

----

home this is useful

10.
the answer is 70 degrees
do 140/720*360=70 degrees (this is just like finding the percentage)

13. the answer is 62 because if u add 62+58 and divide it by 2 the answer is 60.

14. $400-$280=$120
$120/400*100=30% of her pay is left

33. the answer is $50 because 10% of $50 is $5 and 50-5=$45

48. $75*(3*12)=$2700
$2700+$1500=$4200
but this answer is not an option so there is a high chance that i might be wrong.
