For HSC 2013 Q33 d) ii) [Interrelationship between software and hardware elective], when doing the question myself I get the same position and direction as the sample answers from the board of studies, but I have an obstacle on the right as well as on the top and the left. Have I misunderstood something? or are the answers wrong?

The answers have to be wrong, its probably a formatting issue when they made the marking guidelines - that has happened before with other SDD papers.

The first four digits are 1, and the first 1 is the starting bit while all the rest communicate that yes there is an obstacle in the front as well as on the left and right.
