this prob sounds like a stupid question, but if we got out SAM card last yr, do we need to get new ones or are they the same??? i wasnt sure with vsu comming up and all that.

they issue new sam card every yr, but not new student card!!!!

yes new transport sticker as mentioned above and also a sticker over the year in the bottom left hand corner.

Uh, you guys do realise you can just ask for a new student card and they'll give it to you?

If they give you attitude, you can just say you lost your old one. They won't charge you.

Quoted for truh...the only time of the year this is the case.

But sometimes I like to give the students attitude anyway...spices things up as work gets a bit dreary after the umpteenth card.

Same place you get your concession sticker and newbies get their cards - in the atrium, once you've enrolled.

my MQ student card isnt anything special, but my Carleton uni card is HOT!!! their card is so much better.

just wondering, can i pick up a student diary when i get back or do i need to ask a mate to steal me one when everyone else gets theres???

they are generally given out when you sign up for sam. i am pretty sure you can sign up like whenever. i remeber signing up just before conception day.
