You can, however, appeal if you bothered reading further. It just means that you can't scab marks on the day, and must do it officially

Re: Results and Predictions (Sem 1 '08)

I'm acting like the stupid first year I was all over again, by checking three times a day. That's not good--that says something about the lack of confidence I have in my prospective results. In fact, this was the most godawful exam period and semester ever so far...beats even first year first semester.

Anyway, I really will be just happy to pass. The only thing that I am remotely confident about is PK/PG which I hope I will get maybe a Distinction for but seeing as the bell curve is always against me and I only get distinctions in subjects I'm really good at and like (which is not PK/PG) I will probably end up with a credit as usual.

WANT MARKS NAO!
I finished one of the units over a month ago...

I went to uni today to pick up some course readers.
Why are they pulling up the cobblestones in front of fisher library? Didn't they just finish laying them down?

From the bull a few weeks back:

Terry Daly, director of capital development at Campus Infrastructure Services, has offered an explanation to the high-heeled fashionistas and chalkers foiled by the rustic granite cobblestone paving outside Fisher Library. ‘The cobblestones do look quite nice, but with that high volume of traffic, a smooth stone finish is more appropriate,’ he said. ‘We got the design wrong three or five years ago, we need to review it, and are certainly happy to do that.’ Smooth stones are to be extended across the entire forecourt, which will increase disruption to one of the most trodden upon areas of the University.

Thank god. My work (business) shoes have rather thin soles, and its a little uncomfortable walking over those rough stones.

Re: Results and Predictions (Sem 1 '08)

In a fit of paranoia I've been calculating how much I needed to get on the final exams to pass (which I know it's a bit late for but hey). And I know for certain results won't be out for a while because the supp exams are being held from next week, the review times are not up yet (of course), and they've only just posted the semester's marks for our assessments up on WebCT for us to check and confirm.

And yet what do I do?

PCOL 3605 Pharmacology 3 (Pharmacy) Result not yet available
PHAR 3609 Medicinal Chemistry 3A Result not yet available
PHAR 3613 Pharmacy Practice 3A Result not yet available
PHAR 3630 Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacogenetics Result not yet available

Stuff this I'll check back next week.

Re: Results and Predictions (Sem 1 '08)

I used to use that automatic checker that would sms you when you got a result.
It unfortunately doesn't work anymore. Seems the url for the unikey authentication has slightly changed so the program can't logon. :(
