Im just really confused .
With the R2P, does it include all the nations of the world
there is no signing or anything ?

it is an initiative by the UN, so does that mean the countries that are not listed on the UN are included ??

Pretty sure it does include all nations, because say the government does not or just refuses to protect their people, then that sovereignty is taken away by the UN (UN summit, I think). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

its simply a new concept due to greater integration of nations,that there are ethical obligations and responsibilities to act. It's mainly to do with human rights violations or mass atrocity crimes, where the victims need assistance and intervening and as a whole the world must not sit back and allow it to occur.
