is it better to do chem eng in unsw or do mech eng in uts with the 1 year internship. I really like phys and maths though. I don't mind what course I get in to. just the quality of uni I guess and perhaps the job demands for future years is what I'm worried about

I cant say this with absolute certainty, but I reakon work experience and internships would carry far more weight then the prestige of your university.

I think for Engineering, UNSW has a slightly better reputation. At the end of day, reputation is reputation. When you are applying for a job, they look at your professional experience and your character, not so much of which university you come from.

u could do an internship at unsw too..but its not part of the degree
