What is the easiest way to check if someone replied to my posts/a post I commented on.
At the moment I search my name so all posts that relate to me come up but I'm sure there is a better way.

You can press the 'New Posts' link in the top left of your page, and theres an icon in the ones youve posted in.
Also you can suscribe to threads by clicking 'Thread Tools' which is on top of the first post of the thread. And then from the settings page you can see which of your suscribed threads have new posts.

Alternatively, on the front page of BoS (you must click the 'Home' button in the top left to get there, not the 'Bored of Studies' Banner) you'll see your post count above 'View New Messages'. Click that number and it'll bring up all the threads you've posted in and if they've been replied to since you last looked at them.

You can subscribe to your ownthread you know. Then you get updated each time
