Ok heres my question.

After completing year 12, if you are unsatisfied with your UAI and want to repeat.
When you come back after the holidays 1 term of year 12 and a round of assessments have already been done. What happens here? Do you get estimates or are you allowed to do seperate assessments. I have no idea.

You continue as normal and your assessment marks in Term 1 (Term 4 technically) are calculated at the end of the year based on your assessment marks throughout 2005. Well, this is my school's policy anyway.

ask your school about it when you get back. Maybe they will allow it although I'm not sure what the board specifically outlines regarding this situation. Maybe you can contact the board directly through their website and they can tell you.

the people in my grade (05 yr 12) who repeated from last years HSC all started yr 12 again straight after their exams finished because apparently they 'knew' they wouldnt go as well as they first thought.. as for starting in term 1 05.. maybe u should ask ur principal? or as Kulazzi said, contact the board about ur situation.. but i think you would probably do pretty similar assessment tasks..
