Regarding equality or inequality (1 Viewer)

Was doing some inequalities induction and got me thinking...


Oftentimes we need to prove and we'll say for example and . If we know that , without the equality, does the statement still hold? Because we know that it isn't greater, it is simply equal to. Or the fact that means either greater than OR equal to??
