is there even a major western city which gets the majority of its drinking water from recycled grey water?

Drinking water != grey water.

Many cities use recycled water as grey water (i.e. for irrigation); a few, such as Singapore, London and Orange County in the US, use recycled water for drinking.

Personally I'm more concerned with the fluoride in the water than drinking water that came out of our asses.

I don't care, bring it on.

People are just put off by the word sewerage...but really all the water you drink has probably, at some point, passed through something far more disgusting than a human digestive tract so whatever.
