I bought Success One Mathematics Extension 1 today, but browsing through the shelves, the shortage of proper English textbooks and quality of them is fucking disgraceful.

No, it's not crap. I wouldn't buy it though. Because I don't need solutions for HSC Mathematics because at Board of Studies website, they have got answers and I can always check if I got them right or not.

Yeah same here, that's why I got one too. And it's better than checking on BoS because sometimes it's quicker.

On another note, is it just me, or does anybody else find Cambridge's explanations confusing? I honestly prefer Fitz's explanations, they're much simpler to understand and the layout is much better. I don't like Camb's glossy paper either ...

I haven't really used Cambridge before, but i think Fitzpatrick's explanations are really good. Coroneos goes into depth with his explanations and they are pretty good as well.

Yeah Coroneos' (yes! I finally spelt it right) ones are good, it's just, again with the ugly layout/typing/writing/whatever.

Hey is it true that you can only get Coroneous' books from the man himself? I remember that when I was younger, my dad drove for a very long time to his garage to get some of his books, and that's the only way that I have a copy of his books. Can you get them some place else?

The only thing i dislike about Fitz is that when you're asked to sketch something.. the answers dont have the diagram of the answer =(.

Oh and the induction has no answers .. but you can practically do that bit by yourself

Yeah, I reckon Fitzpatrick's explanations are better....but at the same time, I don't dislike Cambridge because of its paper.
