Recommended apps and tweaks for OSX (1 Viewer)

So I'm relatively new to OSX, what do you more seasoned users recommend and find useful?

So far I have installed:
- Transmission
- iWork
- StuffIt Expander
- Perian

On windoze I'd automatically install Chrome but I am so far very impressed with Safari :S

Both are WebKit based so idk.

Safari on mac (or in general) is a pos. so use chrome.

Tuxera is good, adds NTFS write support to OSX.

It's slow though

Safari irritates me. I've accustomed myself to Wunderlist - good for managing things.
