yeah im pretty sure. I read on another thread that a 75 raw mark should get u a band 5, and a 81-82 raw mark should get you a band 6. I emphasise should because school rankings, individual rankings and so and so also play a part

Your school may just have a high standard in marking?

Our teacher reckons that in chem, anyone who got over 70 in the catholic trial got band 6's in the hsc, and our physics teacher reckons our 88's in the trial would translate into highish band 6's

a raw mark of around 62-63 will get you into the low 80s for ur scaleld mark.

Yeah it varies from school to school. The catholic trial was a bitch though. Me fail.

our school claims "that is how hsc markers mark". And also, the teachers happen to claim they are HSC markers.
