Would a raw mark of about 75 ever be a band 5??

It's a bit to hard to determine as it depends on the difficulty of the paper etc..
and it's not definite on how hard the mark the long responses so who knows... it could be lol.

My teacher said as an approximation 40% raw is a band 4, 60% is a band 5 and 80% is a band 6.

But I understand these figures can vary substantially due to a number of factors.

Umm, I dont think so, 60% is definately not a band 5 and I dont think 80% will ever get a band 6.
