So just over a week to the exam and i still havnt memorised all of teh ratios. Down anyone have any tips on how to remember them????? I suck at the whole financial topic :burn:

u just memorise em =D
all the ratios kinda add up to its formula anyway

i.e return on owners equity
break it up into
return and owners equity
return = net profit
owners equity = owners equity

netprofit/ owners equity

i think that was it =S

I remember them by using friends names that have the same first letter as part of the ratio

eg current ratio= current assets/current liabilities could be andrew/leah

I dont know, it seems to work.

you would think. i use people in the class, so i can see them.

so, in an exam, if i get stuck on a ratio, i look around, see andrew, think hmm, andrew is on top of... leah!

and remember the ratio. after having a laugh.
