Ok i have a dilemma with ancient atm (no its not an ancient orientated question). I switched schools at the beginning of the year, and at my old school instead of doing P&H first we did the national study Augustus. My new school however has chosen Julio-Claudians as the national study. Now the dilemma comes from me wanting to do augustus in the HSC instead of julio-claudians because i have a full set of augustus notes and have half learnt them. On the other hand i just have excerpts from historians on the julio-claudians and no real notes.
Now my teacher wants me to to J-C saying that ill be disadvantaged going into the exam having learnt Augustus. He tells me that the max mark i could obtain doing Augustus is 14/25. What i want to know is, will there be any consequences of me choosing Augustus when the rest of the class does J-C? even if i do a good essay will i get the marks deserving of the essay or will the essay be poorly marked and judged.
Thanks
