I'm in year 11 and currently doing 12 units:

Advanced English
Modern History
Ancient History
Biology
Community And Family
Hospitality

I was thinking of dropping CAFS at the end of this year but I think Hospitality is a Category B subject..

So if I drop CAFS will I still have enough units for a 'good' UAI?

What do you mean "good" UAI? Any combination can get you a decent or really high UAI, if you are struggling in CAFS then drop it or if you don't like it etc. 12 units just gives you 2 units for backup if you stuff one up

Drop CAFS, pick up History extension, you'll have 9 solid units, and the.........other 2. Easily enough to get you a UAI of 99.8 if youre good enough. Dont type in bold.

history extension is a fabulous course. it does, however, require a substantial commitment - consider you will have to undertake a major work for it. otherwise, you could consider ext 1 english. still just one unit, but no major work
