Oooo, just saw the trailer. This movie is gonna be good. I'm not so much a Bond fan as a Daniel Craig fan, but I'm gonna love it anyway. I was hoping for another 'swimming trunks' scene.

I think it looks awesome! I'm pretty damn excited to see it. I loved Casino Royale, I wasn't much into bond before that.

Finally just watched it. It was a very good movie and very entertaining. I prefer Casino Royale, but I am glad that this film was shorter. I'm unsure of how to post spoilers so I won't say anymore.

Nop, they're actually pretty damn good. Not once does it feel as if the plot has come to a grinding halt simply for an action set-piece, and the intensity of them underscore the more emotional moments. Put simply, it was one of the best Bond films ever made, and proves that Sean Connery was always the caretaker of the role until the worthy candidate came along. His name is Daniel Craig, and there are some lines in this film that are so everyday - like "Well that's good, because there isn't any" and his first and final lines - that he turns into pure Bond. Not ven Connery could have done it.

Also, Forster isn't gay. He just sounds that way.

I enjoyed the movie immensely. It went along at a good pace with a nice balance of exposition and action sequences. Knowing it was an immediate sequel to Casino Royale, I watched it a few days before. But anyone who hadn't seen the previous movie probably wouldn't have gotten as much out of Quantum.

What they should do in say, the Blu-ray release of the film (or on a separate DVD), is make a completely separate edit so that the beginning of Quantum flows directly on from the end of Casino - no opening or ending credits - and essentially melding both movies into a 4+ hour epic.

Major bummer. I'll see it next week - it's a movie I can't miss!

ok i'm sorry if this sounds totally heretical but i watched it today and actually didn't like it that much. i just had no idea what was going on. all of the time. as in plot-wise. it was so confusing. and i did watch casino royale when it came out too. the wikipedia article made things a bit clearer, but still.
