Discuss the key features and components of the standard model of matter, including quarks and leptons.

Now given that the whole syllabus focuses on history of achievements it seemed more likely for a HSC question then to start going into colour charge etc. I wrote 3 pages anyway.

But the question was mainly about how accelerators were a tool to discovering the standard model wansn't it? It didn't say anything about emtnioning the types of accelerators.

with this BS ? you need to mension stuff that is in the outcomes so you mention as much as you can, this is what i mensioned and EXPANDED:
binding energy per nucleon
linear accelerator
neutrons
