I am sad I came into this debate so late, but it seems as though it has been hijacked by the extreme right operating under a number of aliases... do National Action have a heep of new recruits? The stereotyping here has been absolutely attrocious and the descriptions of the protestors no less then offensive. There is such a feeling in here that the left is trying to quash hard work... blah blah blah. You guys have no idea... no absolute idea about what it is like to be involved in real politics, politics where if you dont pay your dues, your branch is screwed, politics that at is root is organisised in such a spirit of unity. Im rambling because im insensed at the fact that no one here realises that a whole heep of the protestors are protesting not only some conditions in this country. But the third world, where unfair trade barriers, poor commodity prices, what you people call "the market" not temporarily, but permanently effect "hard workers" from being resilient. Hard work is a myth. You seem to use the word communist here and there like its hurting well its not. If I believe in democratic non-violent demonstration, which it was at the most part, and in social dialogue and these are communist values. I am a communist, I was born a communist and I will die a communist. So much ignorance, so little dialogue, I cant wait to go on my gap year, i need to get away from these bigots.
