What Languages does everyone learn?

We use PHP 95% of the time but sometimes the odd VBA comes in once in a while.
I find PHP to be an excellent and useful language compared to VBA.

That might depend on what you're trying to do

PHP won't be that useful if you want to write a native Windows or Office program, but on the flipside VB/A won't be that useful writing online applications.

Most schools probably teach VB or VBA, since its relatively easy to pick up and teach.

We learn Visual Basic.Net

Yeah, we're using VB.NET but changing to Java in HSC course.

Probably because Java is used in most uni's.

were using VB - we did logo in yr 10 and a bit in yr 11 - that was fun
