i wanted to apply for Harris Park bus pass ...

do i use that white form from Lincolin building and filled it out?
or something else?

I just did mine a few days ago. What you do is go up and fill it out, then hand it to the guys at the student enquiry....you then get it stamped by them and then take it to your bus driver who will hand the form to the depot.

I think from then you will get the bus pass sent to you.....But I'm not sure because mine hasn't been sent yet.

otherwise you can bring it up to the place yourself and they will do it on the spot.

I think that we're supposed to go collect the concession passes from the uni..but i'm not sure

nah you don't collect them from the uni..
the bus company sends it to you... thats what happened last year when i got my concession!!

i posted mine almost 2 weeks ago now!! and i had to get stupid passport sized photos.. waste of 10 for 5 when i only need 1.. oh well!!

They spelt my name wrong -_-'
But screw them because I'm not re-applying.

And don't you guys think it's a bit crap that we only get to use these concession passes during uni? I mean high school was ten times better - we just had 1 concession pass and it allowed us to use it even on sundays or during school holidays!

well each bus company has their own policy regarding concessions. i think they get some govt subsidy or something for students!!

yep they do...but remember in high school when the blue cardboard worked on ALL private buses? Well I reckon they should give us another of those...

And in addition, not being able to get concessions on weekends sucks quite a lot because the prices end up sky rocketing...I mean seriously, we're uni students...how rich does the government expect the majority of us to be?

No, you gotta fill it in first and then bring it to the Student Enquiries Office. They stamp it for you and THEN you bring it to the bus-driver. Then you just wait and twiddle your thumbs and eventually you get it sent in the mail.

And you must apply for a new one every semester.

pay special attention to : fill out, GET STAMPED, get photos if needed, bring to company
