yellow shirt mentors dun get paid anything PwarYeux

ye we give out readings and lecture notes etc wen its busy. but im a student advisor, so im there as an information person. ppl come around and ask me to help plan out their degree or ask me wot a prerequisite is etc. its a pretty stress free job. its basically empty after 6pm onwards so u cud juz study or bum around behind the counter.

and ye sweet lemon that's right. but i don't think they'll be hiring any time soon. they have a reserve list of ppl they interviewed as well.

Yes PwarYuex, the ppl in Ask Me shirts are mentors...

Oh ye and i fink u hafta be in 3rd yr or above to apply too...i dunno any 2nd yrs working in eric. so next yr wen the 3rd/4th yrs graduate u'd prolly see some of the reserves starting in eric. and then the yr after that, the current eric staff will prolly all have left uni and that's prolly when the next recruitment thing will b..which is exactly wen u'll b in 3rd yr ^^
so all u gotta do now is climb ur way to the top of a student club =p

everyone that works during open day should be getting paid (as far as i know)
whereas mentoring is a volunteer kind of thing

you can always transfer to B Sci(electronics) or B Telecom. Eng. or some other hardcore electronics related degree;
the electronics department in ICS needs practical demonstrators /tutors for some of their units. They get paid 26bucks an hr and you can work from 2hrs a wk, to around 14...
