I finished and I got some of the results back...
English Adv: I came 65th out of 270 students, but my mark was pretty bad.
General Maths: 73% - could do better. I don't know my ranking but I came 2nd in my class...
Chem: Haha no
IPT: 78% - again, could do better. I came 4th...out of 9 students :p
Eco: Haven't gotten back yet
Visual Arts: Haven't gotten back yet

I did better than my half-yearlys, but I still need to step up a bit more. Grr.

2u - 81% dont know rank
3u - 83% dont know rank
legal - only know rank which is 1st
Grats jellybelly. Maths Extension ruined my 'quality rankings/marks' streak...I was lazy by only making theory notes and memorising the formulas, but not practicing loads of questions....I've learned my lesson, I hope.

Physics: Bahaha, I really dislike this subject and don't expect much from it. I made some lame jokes to answer some questions that I didn't know.

Well I don't remember the exact question but there were a series of 'motion' calculations that I had no idea in doing.

The first one was about two cars colliding into each other and you had to figure out the other car's velocity or something after the collision according to the witness' statement. It eventually led to a policewoman who used a concept in physics to suggest the witness was wrong and I had to show using calculations why the policewoman is right.

Answer: Firstly, she is a woman...

My physics teacher is a woman by the way...

Yeah I know it was lame, but it was Friday afternoon and I was not motivated let alone being witty  But the next one is even lamer.

The question asked what fuel did the main sequence stars run on (or something like that). This seemed to an ordinary person a really easy question but at the time I had a mind blank so I wrote in big capital letters 'PETROL'. Later I made a real guess and crossed it out lightly and wrote hydrogen.

Yeah it was lame and sorry to anyone who is annoyed/offended etc.
looks like we did the same paper...

The ITE paper, I believe. Did it too.

There was a question about two technologies used to avoid or reduce vehicle collisions. I was tempted to write 'Steering' and 'Brakes' but ended up writing about seat belts and crumple zones. (That doesn't actually answer the question, because seat belts and crumple zones don't actually avoid crashes, they just reduce the impact of them.)

Well all I can say is thank gosh Year 11 is over and the yearlys are over!

My two weeks of exams almost killed me! and being so sick didn't help either. But I got:

English - 66% = was unbelieveably disappointed with it. My teacher had been saying that I was doing so well throughout the year and my marks were in the 80s and 90s for most of the year and she looked at all my practice essays and tasks, which I might add was what the exam revolved around and I got that crappy mark! I was so mad I wanted to kill my English teacher... I actually tried to change classes but my stupid school wouldn't let me!!!

General Maths - 90% = 1st in my class!

Geography - 82% = really good for my class like 2nd or 3rd

Modern - 86% = ok... need to be better

French - 87% = awesome for my class, like 3rd

German - 85% = pretty good for having fluent people in my class!

Getting ready to start fresh for Year 12 next term .... eeeep!

my yearly exams were over by about week 8 of school
results:

English Adv - 93% (1st)
English Ext 1 - 93% (1st or 2nd)
Maths - 97% (2nd)
Maths Ext 1 76% (7th) kind of disappointing, but considering average mark was 40% im pretty happy.
Physics 93% (1st)
Chemistry 94% (2nd)
French - 78% and well, theres no rank for that considering im the only one in my class. and im pretty happy, seeing as all year round i was getting 60 percents.. =).
overall, yr 11 ended on a REALLY good note:uhhuh:
