Hi, I am currently in Year 10 doing the accelerated course for Yr 11 Ext 1 and 2 unit. I am considering to do Maths Ext 2 however I am not sure if I am capable of doing so. Currently, I get an average of around 70% in most exams of 3 unit. I reckon that most of the mistakes I did was because I made silly mistakes.

My questions are:
1.Do you think that I can do Maths Ext 2?
2.What is the difference between Ext 2 and Ext 1?
3.What extra topics would be need to be covered in the course?
4.What is the average score that I need to achieve to pass Ext 2?
5.What are topics that I must succeed in Ext 1 to do well in Ext 2?

Thanks for posting :spin:

Yes, you should definitely do maths ext. 2. Try it first & see how you go.

Try it. What's the harm in trying it? If not, drop it.

Give it a crack mate, I think you'll be fine if you put the work in.

Remember, you can focus purely on maths closer to trials and HSC, and you get rid of 4 whole units if you do well.

True that, I am gonna ask my teacher and see what he says about the situation. I will give it a try and if I can't cope then I drop it.
