Prelim books for Engineering & Math? (1 Viewer)

I wonder which textbooks would suit a person coming afresh to Engineering Studies? (Is it true the syllabus has changed slightly recently? If so, whats the change?)

And textbooks for 2U and Ext 1. Math? I hear Cambridge / Fitzpatrick are good ones.

Keep in mind that this is for Preliminary! [not many around]

dont know about engineering studies though..
