I'll be lugging a copy of Sophie's World or some other easy-to-spot book
I've heard you talk about this before. If I may ask, why will you be carrying Sophie's World?

Because I'm reading it at the moment...?

And it's blue and reflects light. It's like a mirror. I checked - I can see myself smile in it. SO SHINY!

I had just assumed that if you were reading it now, you would have finished it by the time uni starts up. My bad. :)

True.

But if we do end up doing it - I'll tell you all what book I'll be taking along with me anyway. Jennifer Government, anyone?

loved that book <3.
As a girl I used to like might say: "Deffs".

That was the book that made me realise that boys could also write in a style that wasn't just war and killing and shooting. Max Barry is a legend!

You can change it still, it's not too late!
It's tempting, but I prefer the idea of Economics. Commerce seems to parcel you into a particular finance-related career, whilst economics is the underlying theory, no?

That is true. In Commerce you can major in Economics though, I think.

I got into my first preference so I'm pretty happy :) It's a Bachelor of Social Science combined with a Bachelor of Law at Macquarie University. I'm absolutely stoked at the prospect of hanging out at Macq U with its lush, verdant surrounds and its awesomely large campus. Is anyone equally as excited about studying either Social Science or Law at Macq U?

Jennifer Government is great - I also enjoyed Syrup. I haven't read Company though... I read the first line. Epic first line!

Company is great. Go read it! Now!

Can't wait for Machine Man to come out in book form.

Anyway, back on topic... I didn't get any offers. :/ Although... that's because I'm already in uni :p
