99.99 does not exist.

100.00 does exist but only about 20 people get it each year. None have made contact with this forum.
how is it physically possible to get 100.. that means you'd have to get 100% in all your assessments and 100% in all exams. no teacher would give someone full marks in an essay. theres always room for improvment. so i think thats bullshit.

The UAI is a ranking system. Therefore, a person just has to be ranked first in his school assessments (even if the highest mark is like 30%, it still doesn't matter) and then get really high marks (ie 95+) for 10 units in the HSC exam.

You clearly have no idea about how the system works.

The person would need to be ranked first or second internally and do REALLY well in the HSC exams- like 96+ probably. The adjustment of marks by UAC would then give a UAI of 100.

The UAI is a rank, so the top 21 people this year got 100. This doesn't mean that they necessarily got HSC marks of 100 in all their HSC marks but rather that they got marks higher than anyone else in the state.

I think......

Sorry bout that, three similar replies all in a row.

UAI is a rank, not a mark. Someone always has to be ranked first, so therefore its impossible for there to NOT be a 100.00 UAI.

UAI increments by 0.05, not 0.01.

SAM:54.65
