Aboriginal Spirituality
they have never asked:
Aboriginal spirituality and its enxtricable connection to the land
the diversity of Aboriginal belief systems and spirituality today
the effect of missions and missionary activity on Aboriginal belief systems from the original contact period through to more recent times [had one in our trial tho]

1900-now
They have never asked:
THE INTERRELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE AUSTRALIAN PHYSICAL AND CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT AND HTE DEVELOPMENT OF CHRISTITIANITY IN AUSTRALIA-my bets are on this one...ppl have never even seen that dotpoint...
This one suprisingly hasnt been asked:
– the role and responses of religious traditions in/to at least THREE (note the at least) of the following issues/political debates:
- abortion
- divorce
- euthanasia
- gambling
- indigenous rights
- poverty
- sexuality
- the role of women in family, church, workplace and society
- unemployment
the development of religious plurality and distribution/profile of religious adherence today
– immigration after World War II
– the ending of the White Australia Policy
– the formation of the Uniting Church in Australia in 1977
– New Age religions
– religious conversion and denominational switching
– Pentecostalism and the charismatic movement

yeah it will prob be from those sections I reckon

Cross religion study-religious rites:
I reckon:
compare and contrast examples from the same religious rites within TWO religious traditions in relation to TWO of the following:
– the nature, role and function of officiating celebrants
– significance of sacred writings
– use of symbolism
– social structure
– human experiences.

or the everyday life of teh believer question...

If any of these come... u owe me :p

Calm down mate, I bet you will absolutely carve me up in this subject, especially if you're aware of what has/hasn't been asked. Gotta be calm before the exams!

Because my average throughout the year has been mere passing (like 55%), and by the sounds of it you're gun at it. You won't need to revise RE as much as Legal, but if you have it all together you'll be alright.

Joe I love you! I was going to go through the syllabus myself but I have no time. Damn them for putting English Adv and Religion so close.

Rites of Passge- everyday lives of believers. I would bet my life on this. I just know it.

Ghost, the mumbo jumbo syllabus are exactly where the questions come from
some are EXACTLY worded in that way
theres a limited number of things they can ask

I hate questions about the everyday lives of believers... I'm hoping for ethics it'll be based on the rubric where you choose between certain ethical issues, eg. violence, war and peace.
